Yangtze River

The longest river in China, Yangtze river, divide China into North and South two parts.
North China lie in the north part of Yangtze river, South China lie in the south.
My old University lies in Wuhan city, Yangtze river cross this city and divide it into tree part. I used to walk on the bank of river, as it is quiet and I like river. We have a yellow river as the water is in yellow with a lot of sand in it. We also can call Yangtze river as yellow river, as the river is also yellow now, not like what it used looks like.

It is wide and most time it is quiet. But some time it is very powerful and bad temper. I saw it in 1998, what a big flood happen once every 100 years. Walked near it, I felt the bank was moving and I was too tiny before the huge flowing before me, running to the east. In fact everything is weak and little compare with water in 1998.
