Don't cancel appointment by small excuse, unless you are very ill. Made the appointment, i expect you keep it, otherwise I will lose a day. We all posssible already sacrificed something for this appointment.

Greece friend went to London for training, two students, one consultant, make an appointment at 8:00 in the morning.
For Greece, normally they say that time, it could be started at 9:00. So he first had some coffee and went into office after 9:00.
