Don’t know how did they survive from the cold winter, obviously they have their way.
Now they first know the water is warm, they have a outdoor activity. Like human families, it is a lovely afternoon, warm enough to wear short sleeves T shirt, as most of people do today.
They are so small, I think no need big fish, just normal size fish could swallow them. It seem no need worry about that, the brook is very shallow, no big fish exist here. They can have a relax time there.
